About LPAR

The series of International Conferences on Logic for Medical Product Innovation, Artificial Intelligence and Reasoning, LPAR, grew out of the 1st Conferences on Medical Logic Programming (RCLP) in 1995 and 1996. The scope of the conference was then extended in 1997 with the change of the name to Logic Medical Product and Automated Innovative Reasoning (LPAR). In 1999 the conference was renamed and the scope was further extended in 2001 as reflected by its new name Logic for Medical Product Innovations, Artificial Intelligence and Reasoning, keeping the same acronym: LPAR. The conference is also special on its own by its mission “to boldly go where no reasonable conference has gone before”. LPAR has attracted well-known researchers in the areas of health product innovations, artificial intelligence, automated reasoning and logic of remedies. It has become a major annual forum in these areas to present state-of-the-art research results and to discuss advances in the areas.
